We should drink a lot of water. We should have healthy eating habits. Third, we should do more exercise to build up our bodies. In order to increase students’ knowledge about the traditional culture of Guangzhou, our school held a “Guangzhou Culture Festival” last Saturday. There were many meaningful activities, such as, Cantonese Opera Competition, picture show and food show. The students were greatly interested in them and they also took an active part. The music there sounded beautiful, and the clothes were beautiful as well. The pictures show not only showed us the changes of Guangzhou, but also let us learn more about the history as well as the culture of Guangzhou. What attracted us most is the food show. Much delicious food was showed, and we learned more about the use of the dishes. As I’m not a native person, I hope that I can learn more about Guangzhou in the next culture festival, especially something about the dialect Cantonese.

The Cantonese Opera competition was held in order to attract the students’ attention. We were so interested that all of us took an active part in it. In the competition, we had fun not only listening to the beautiful music but also enjoying the pretty traditional clothes.
Besides, there was also a Picture Show in the festival. It showed how Guangzhou changed. From the show, we can learn a lot about the history and culture of Guangzhou.
At last, we held the Food Show so that we could have a better understanding of the local food in Guangzhou. In the show, many kinds of food were showed, such as dim-sum, seafood and so on. The more I knew about the food culture of Guangzhou, the prouder I felt about being part of Guangzhou.
The next festival will be coming next year. I hope more than one language will be used which will catch more people’s eye. On the other hand, it will be more exciting if some videos about Guangzhou’s history are played during the festival. In a word, I am really looking forward to the next festival.

If you are interested in football, take the football course. It is good for your physical health. Besides, you can learn more about teamwork. What about model making? You will be amazed by the science world and become interested in it.
For my part, a painting course can be added, because students like drawing so much. I hope these courses would be helpful and each student would enjoy a bright and colorful school life here!
