Dear fellow classmates,
Our monitor suggests that we have “Friday News Hour”. Some classmates, however, are unable to realize the importance of the suggestion and disagree it. As for me, this activity can play a significant role in our life and I firmly support it.
First and foremost, regular reading news can provide us with a wonderful opportunity to develop the good habit of self-learning and thinking. Moreover, it is crucial for us students who are always kept away from the outside world to broaden our horizon and deepen our thoughts. In addition, after reading news, we can share our views with our classmates and foster our friendship.
From what have been discussed above, regular reading news can definitely benefit us a lot. And it is suggested that we should subscribe to the latest news paper and have a discussion about some interesting topics. All in all, I totally agree with our monitor and hope that everyone of us could take active part in the activity------“Friday News Hour”.
