What puzzles you is actually a puzzle for many parents in China. Personally speaking, it is not quite right for you to do so.
First and foremost, even though grades play an important part in children’s study, their personality, ability and perseverance etc. have always been making a big difference for a lifetime. Moreover, too much pressure on children makes them lose the interest in study and consequently they do not know what to do but pursue high grades. In addition, it is punishment that forms the big gap between parents and children.
From what have been discussed above, firstly, you are supposed to understand your daughter and make friends with her. Secondly, a pleasant reward can be given to her whenever she makes a progress not only in study but in other aspects like playing. All in all, it is hoped that you will get along with your child and wish her a bright future.
