                          My Weekend
          I'm going to do many things and be very busy(忙的）on the weekend. I am going to do my homework on Saturday morning. In the afternoon, I am going to do housework with my mother. Because I am a good girl（boy). I'm helpful （乐于助人的）at home.
On Sunday morning, I am going to visit my grandparents with my parents.

                                My Favourite City
   Guangzhou is my favourite city.
   First, because I live in Guangzhou. Second, because Guangzhou is an interesting city. I can go to the Baiyun Hill and Yuexiu Park.
Guangzhou is big. The population of Guangzhou is about 7,200,000. The weather in Guangzhou is very nice. You can see many flowers in Guangzhou all the year round.
I love Guangzhou.

Today is Janet's birthday. She has a party at home.
She invites（邀请） Lisa, Mike and Tom to her party.

happy. They light （点燃）the candles（蜡烛） and
sing the birthday song. They sing and dance.
They have a lot of fun（乐趣）.

   Xiaoling: It’s Xiaoling here.
   Janet: Hello, Xiaoling. Ben went to visit my uncle this morning. Would you like to leave a message?
   Xiaoling: Yes. I can’t go to his party on time (按时). Please ask him to call me back（回电话给我）.
   Janet: OK. Goodbye.
   Xiaoling: Thanks. Goodbye.

   Yesterday was Sunday. It was a fine day and it was the best time for planting trees. There were no classes. My friends and I went to plant trees in the People’s Park. We planted many young trees along the lake. We all worked hard. All of us felt tired, but we were very happy.
